alexeyei have the feeling that david lynch took quite a lot of inspiration from the prisoner when creating the final episode of twin peaks.
there are two manifestations of the main character, one good, one evil. the good dale/no. 6 has to make a choice between freedom and some kind of sacrifice. and then there's the ambiguity of location, and who ends up where: how can you tell the black lodge from the white lodge? how can you tell the village from the real world? you might think you're in one, when, in fact, you're in the other. or maybe not.
and then there's the midgets & dwarfs . . .
