weekend antics

alexeyehad a good weekend,and spent a ton of time with j1 and k1. on friday night, we went to the viceroy, a hotel in santa monica, and i proceeded to get completely wasted & make out with some random guy. ah, it's nice to see i'm back in top form. his group of friends invited all of us to vegas with them, and it was awful tempting, as they're staying at the hard rock, but, um, no thanks.
saturday i tried to hide from the light. verticality was extremely painful. after loudly checking out the cute waiter at swingers with j1, i headed home to find my copy of order of the phoenix on my doorstep. yay!
instead of going out on saturday night, we wisely decided to make dinner at my place, drink wine, and play trivial pursuit. s1 schooled us all, but we think she got lucky with the questions. k1 makes awesome gnocchi from scratch, a skill i MUST learn for myself.
sunday was devoted almost entirely to harry potter, except for the 2.5-hour break i took to prove to myself that attack of the clones really was as bad as everyone said it was. why do i have to learn these things the hard way?
then it was off to k1's house, for another yummy meal (crepes this time: damn, that girl can cook), and the season premiere of sex & the city. ron livingston is just so damn cute. missed the wire, though. i'll have to catch it tonight.
oh, and my haircut is great. it took her only 15 minutes! on my hellish friday, i just wanted to hug her for saving me so much time.
