the boy and i went to see hellboy at brew & view last night. mmmm, cheap beer and monsters. my favorite. i still really enjoy hellboy, but i have the same problems with the second viewing that i had with the first - the mythos is really incomplete, and certain things just don't make sense.

i'm reading the eyre affair, which, of course, indulges my english major nerdiness. however, there are some really strong parallels to douglas adams' dirk gently's holistic detective agency, with that whole bit about coleridge and the rime of the ancient mariner. not sure how i feel about that.
