it's good to be home

alexeyeespecially when it takes 6.5 fun-filled 110-degree hours to drive back from vegas. and you've had 2 fitful hours of sleep in a corner on the floor of the hotel room, because the guys your friend invited were being total dicks at 6am. yeah. it's good to be home.
we had a pretty good time, but, as i expected, it wasn't anything like march's trip. a group of 11 is about 5 too many: people were fighting, feeling left out, and generally grumpy and tired. mix this in with complicated monetary exchanges, too much alcohol, blazing heat, and different party agendas, and you get a big fat mess.
it wasn't all bad, though. tiesto spun an amazing set on sunday night, we found a kick-ass new bar at mandalay bay, the after-hour club at barbary coast (of all places) was awesome, and we shmoozed our way into baby's for free (VIP, too). my tan's better, too.
but some people are still upset, and discussions will be had. it's really unfortunate, because this was supposed to be a vacation, a chance to relax & recharge, and it's just brought more drama. hopefully it'll all get sorted out today.
