bits and pieces

so, k2 emailed me this morning, glossing over the little event from last weekend. she mentioned being snapped at, but then followed up by saying that she was bored, and could we just please forget about it? unfortunately, i don't think i can. that behavior was really crappy on her part. i feel bad about being bitchy, but you just don't stomp out of a bar in the middle of the night without at telling SOMEONE you're leaving. i know she's a big girl, and she can take care of herself, but it's just not right. i'm still mad, and i don't think i can forget about it. and if it takes her a week to write that lame-ass email, why should i forgive her?

we've (me and my new roommates) screwed up TWO of the application forms so far. they're so badly written, and they don't make clear whose information they need where. at least they seem to be easily correctable, but it's just a few more days that we have to wait to have everything settled.

this weekend, j1 and i should be completing our plans for the l.a.-chicago drive. i'm really excited, even if she wants to go through texas/oklahoma/kansas instead of colorado. m1 is going to try to help me convince her that colorado is the way to go. and i also have to give her her first stick-shift lesson. uh-oh.

she did really well for a first timer! didn't stall much at all! she's a bit nervous, but she doesn't have to be a pro to drive on the freeways in the midwest.

we've settled our plans for the midwest drive. colorado, i'll have to see you some other time. oklahomoa, here i come!

well, in three weeks, anyway. three weeks from today!
