it's been a real long week

and i'm damn glad it's over. the conference i was supposed to work didn't need me, and i got kind of upset about it, i had a disorienting dinner with supervisor boy . . . most of it seems to be work-related. or boy-related, which is really the same thing.

school is better, though. i don't feel totally on top of things, but i do feel i'm getting it a lot more now. it helps that we're discussing postmodernism & poststructuralism in two of my three classes, so i get a couple of perspectives at once.

three day weekend, yay! i'm going to read, maybe do some shopping, and probably hang out with supervisor boy. which may or may not be a bad idea.
