alexeye | stupid sexy post

the post i wrote yesterday evening appears to have disappeared, but in a nutshell - i don't have health insurance. i thought i was covered through the school, since i'm a full-time student, but i got an email yesterday stating that since i wasn't enrolled in 12 units (9 units is full-time for grad students), i wasn't automatically covered, and if i wanted health insurance, i'll have to pay them $650. i don't have $650. well, i have it, but it's supposed to pay my rent through january. if i pay the health fee, i won't be able to make rent.

financial aid sucks. i took out about 1/5 of this amount as an undergrad, and was more financially stable than i am now.

plus, because my thursday class runs an hour and a half longer than it's supposed to, i missed spacey's call last night. i haven't talked to her since may, and i really, really miss her. i want to hear all about her adventures in morocco - apparently, she met some fantastic man, and wants to have his babies. she's currently trying to figure out how to get him a green card. this is rather interesting, as it's coming from a former lesbian . . .

in happier news, it's almost the weekend - only three hours of work this morning, and then i'm free. mel & i are going on a trader joe's "three buck chuck" run this afternoon. plus, i want to hit up the new h&m, since my winter wardrobe from l.a. would barely count as my fall wardrobe here . . .
