i recently rediscovered lauryn hill's "miseducation" album, and have been playing it constantly. it's such great warm-weather music, and it's inspired me to buy some more hip-hop.

today, on a whim, i'm listening moby's "play" for the first time in probably two years. since it was totally oversaturated at one point, i'd forgotten how much i enjoyed it when it first came out.

are there any albums you've recently rediscovered?

The Violent Femmes first album. I hadn't heard it in YEARS, then found the cd at a garage sale a couple of weeks ago. Now I can't stop listening to it. So I went out a bought a Cure cd, thinking it would have the same nostalgic effect. Funny, I don't remember them sounding so lame before.

i'm almost done with our band could be your life, so the minutemen, the replacements and a lot of laughable dchc like faith and rites of spring.

After scrolling through my friends page and seeing this entry, I added a most of "The Miseducation..." to the cd I was burning.

Guy got a weird urge to go to the music shop the other day. He didn't find anything, but I found a copy of the Cure's Mixed Up for $9.
