i'm done! done with my first semester of grad school!

well, i have to turn in one more paper, but it's all printed out already and everything . . .

i had a really good weekend, since i got everything done early. didn't actually DO much, i guess, just spent a lot of time with b., which is certainly my favorite activity of late. watched a lot of angels in america (what's with me and these movie marathons lately?), and loafed around my apartment. plus, it's so exciting and dumb - but my first real snow! ever! i was glad b. was with me when i totally freaked out on saturday night, since most of my other friends would quite possibly look at me as if i were crazy. he just thought i was cute, frolicing and all.

this morning i'm trying to get a lot of things done around the house (laundry, organizing school stuff), so that i can spend most of the rest of the week on drinking and xmas. aahhhhh . . . drinking and xmas.

congratulations on the defeat of your first semester. you worked really hard to conquer it and now you're earned a big break. filled with painting, drinking, and sex.
