just checked my california bank account for the first time in ages - dad gave me more money than i expected for winter cash & travelling. it's an enormous help, since my hours have been drastically affected due to the holidays. stupid holidays.

can't believe new year is tomorrow night. eek! i think mel gets back today, and i'm going to see if she's heard of any activities other than her roommates' party. tabris has heard of a few things, and alex & josh always throw massive, crazy shindigs, but i still can't get rid of my new year anxiety . . .

i know! it doesn't feel like it should be here already. however, i felt the same way about xmas, so perhaps that's just the way things are this year . . .
