i need to stop going out on weeknights. it totally wipes me out: i could NOT get out of bed this morning, and i don't know if i'll make it to yoga this afternoon. i feel like i'm going to be sleepwalking all day.

it was nice to do something spontaneous, though. k2 called me yesterday evening, and invited me to see this brit rap chick at temple bar, a venue i totally love. and i hadn't seen k2 in a while, so it was nice to catch up.

i'm loving my new liam lynch album. but it makes me really, really want to see sifil & ollie again. i'm sure someone's selling tapes on ebay . . .

finally saw frida last night. it was just beautiful.

i scored an awesome mid-length brown leather jacket yesterday for $40. i knew the used/vintage places on melrose were the way to go. it needs to have a button sewed back on, and the hem on the lining needs a little repair, but otherwise, it's in really good condition. i think it'll serve me well in chicago.

The Prisoner, Twin Peaks, AND Sifl & Olly? :)

I have Sifl & Olly Season 3 on DVD (the one you can buy from the website), and every couple of months I peek at the website again to see if they've made seasons 1 and 2 available yet. I know a boy out here in Chicago who has the entire seasons 1 and 2 on video, so that used to be a party staple when all of our friends got together, but his group of friends and my group of friends have sort of drifted apart, and I haven't seen any of the first two seasons for a long time now. :heavy sigh:

i told my ex he had to check out liam lynch/sifl & ollie, and this was his reply:

"hmm, sassy sock puppets you say? i'm sooo over those damn spunky and irreverent sock puppets that maybe i'll give the sassy ones a shot."

sometimes i forget why we spent over 2 years together. then he reminds me.
