this afternoon, the boy and i start the application process for our (hopefully) new apartment.

details . . .
two bedrooms, one bath, back deck, backyard, breakfast nook, lots of storage, pets allowed, paint allowed, plenty of sun, top floor of a 3-story walk-up.

i'll be paying a bit more in rent than i do now, but less in utilities (ahem - cable t.v.), and it will all be worth it to live in this beautiful apartment with my boy.

That place sounds great - we live on the top floor of 4 story walk-up and I would take the hike up over stomping feet overhead anyday!
