yeah, i think the big thing in '70's europe was to carpet every available surface. well, not just in europe - i remember my parents looking at houses that had carpeting in the bathroom & kitchen.
oh yeah, our house in california had a carpeted bathroom, until my sister and I somehow flooded it (I think we were shoving our unwanted dinner down the drain) and my parents had to rip it out. ha ha.
my mom's kitchen and bathrooms are carpeted. i always thought she had it done because the floors were so damn cold when she was growing up in wisconsin.
I don't know what you guys are talking about, those are all beautiful! I'm being completely sincere here, i would love to have every single one. So very much. And who doesn't need a horse in the kichen? Afterall, when you want to cook up some gelatin, your horse is right there, genius!
