finally!

it took me over a month, but i finally took my car in for a tune-up and inspection of the clunking steering noise. hopefully, the damage won't be too severe: i'm still waiting for an estimate. i missed yoga, but i'll survive. if this whole "no job" thing keeps up, i'll have plenty of chances for yoga classes in the next two weeks.

i got pretty depressed yesterday. lots of it had to do with moving, but i think even more was the fact that i was totally alone for almost all of last week. no work, MIA roommates, friends all out of town, etc. when j1 got back yesterday, it was hard to get back into the swing of things.

this week will be better. my favorite roommate is supposed to come back to l.a. for a few days, and there's a distinct possibility that i'll actually go into work at some point. shocking. plus, k1 and j1 are back, even if j1 is leaving on wednesday to go look at apartments in d.c., and i'll be leaving on friday morning to visit m1 in s.f., and take a bunch of books and assorted other things to my father for storage. oh, and rufus wainwright and aimee mann on thursday with jangrl! yay!
