alexeyeafter a three-week hiatus, due to the fact that my boss can't pay his rent on time, i'm back at work. hello, y'all. i've seriously neglected your journals . . . i'll play catch-up this weekend, while i'm at my dad's.
k1 had her first training session today, and i think it went well. she's a quick learner, and she has another week to pick most everything up. and it's not like the boss will expect her to know it all right off the bat.
i changed the utilities into my name for the chicago apartment. i still have to write a deposit check to the departing roommate, and sign off on the last of the paperwork. it's taking SO long to get everything done.
i packed even more yesterday. i'm unsure of when to ship what's being shipped. hell, i'm not even sure what's being shipped yet. the stereo & t.v. are causing me the most deliberation: to ship, or not to ship?
i'm going to s.f. tomorrow, to see m1, and then on to ukiah on saturday to see dad and my hometown girlies. i should have planned this better: i'm going to miss a lot of people i want to see. but i've been so swamped with duty lately. it's really a good thing that i haven't been at work, since it's been enough trouble getting everything else into order.
but i've missed you all!
