i'm here!

i finally made it! after a week on the road, filled with amusing signs, bad food, cheap hotels, and (thankfully) very few arguments, i am in chicago. true to form, i got hammered my first night here, and passed out on the living room floor, after j1 and i met some charming military boys. surprisingly enough, just when i was thinking i'd have to find a new place to live after only one night, my roommates didn't even blink. i think i'm going to like it here. but this is just a short update, as i'm on my way to ikea so that i don't have to sleep on the floor anymore.

i've missed you all, and hope to catch up on your journals before i start school next week!

Sounds like you made a grand entry. I had to resist every urge to pull over at the Ikea store on the way to Madison, it was very very hard.
