i got my cd, brdgt! thank you! i'm excited to listen to it, because i'm not familiar with a bunch of the bands . . .

i had a fun weekend with hayat16 - yay! we talked, ate lots of yummy food, drank tons of good wine, watched a drag queen maul my friend, saw a lovely african ceramics exhibit, and went to see brokeback mountain. the movie was lovely. i liked it better than i expected (the trailer is pretty bad at capturing the real feel of the film), and i'll post more about that later.

it was sooo great to see you. thanks for the gifties and everything, too. right after you left, i talked to ANOTHER friend who is leaving for arizona this week. argh! i should hide in his suitcase.
