so excited. though i sweated buckets in bumper-to-bumper traffic on the way back from the 'burbs (stupid construction), i have my bento! i also have a grip of candy, but . . . mmm, candy. no, candy was not the main purpose of this trip. not at all.
Hooray! I have a Mr Bento, too. :) I used to take him to work a lot (before I quit my job). My only word of warning is that those containers are BIG, and if you aren't careful about what kinds and quantity of food you use in each container, you'll end up with way more food than you can eat in a day.
But I loved being forced to bring several different dishes, so that I wouldn't fall into a rut of just taking a tub of leftovers & missing out on veggies or yogurt or trail mix or whatever else I would put in the other containers. Mr Bento is great for variety. :)
yep, mitsuwa. best place ever! i actually got some "real" food, too, while i was there.
i've been really good at bringing trail mix, carrots, etc. to work along with my actual lunch, but i hate wasting plastic baggies & having to carry so many little things.
all this talk of bento boxes totally make one want one! (i am such a lemming, i know.) have you seen the "mr. bento porn" pool on flickr? you just check that out. :)
Howdy! This probably makes me seem like a big weirdo, but Jess mentioned that you were going to see Inland Empire today and then I remembered that I met you once a long time ago and meant to add you on LJ and totally forgot about it.
Until today.
Oops.
So anyway, yes, hello. My name is Jason, I'm Jess's roommate and I like your filmsnack blog. I keep meaning to do something similar but figure I'm not really qualified as I'm waaaay out of practice in attempting to communicate effectively and intelligently with people about... stuff. And things.
