as badly as i wanted to go to yoga this evening, i came home after work to tie up some loose ends that have been flappin' for some time . . .

* paid bills
* called my old bank about 3 erroneous charges on my account
* balanced both my checkbooks
* printed all my readings for next week's indian art class
* finished last reading for this week's film theory class
* set a time to work with mel on our film theory presentation
* ate cereal

So, I've been meaning to ask you, so that I have it right - you're degree is in Film Theory? I read some interesting stuff in some of my classes at UMass on film history (I think it was my 20th century american history class). You gotta love a class where you watch The Jazz Singer. It always seemed like such a theory-heavy, yet creative field. I loved that tension.

film theory is one of the classes i'm taking this fall - my program is "modern art history, theory and criticism." but seeing that film is one of my central areas of interest - yeah, i'll be doing a lot of film theory.
