any suggestions?

i'm working on a list of important political movies for a friend of mine who's graduating from UCLA's public policy program next week. so far, here's what i've got:

1) "the contender"
2) "bob roberts"
3) "the manchurian candidate"
4) "all the president's men"
5) "the parallax view"

anybody got ideas? the more modern, the better: i don't want to overwhelm her with 70's conspiracy flicks.

That reminds me of the Simpsons episode where they all go to the movies. The kids see a cartoon movie, but Marge suggests to Homer that THEY see something a little more "adult".
Marge suggests a movie called "The Stockholm Affair" and of course Homer thinks it's porn. Of course after the movie starts, he finds out it's a political thriller. :)

i remember that episode! i love it when the simpsons go to the movies: the marquee titles alone are worth it. remember the one where homer gets the crayon removed from his brain?
