so. bored. at. work.

while my weekend was pretty darn good, i'm sad that i didn't get to see jessica yesterday - she had an unexpected 3-hour layover at o'hare, but was so irritated that she didn't think to call me until it was too late. drat. fortunately, she has promised to visit me in the spring. yay!

i was disappointed by the last episode of sex & the city. while i was happy with samantha, miranda, and even stupid charlotte's storylines, i thought they wrapped carrie up in one of the worst ways possible. after her blow-up at big in the second-to-last episode, she can accept his appearance in paris without question? without worries at all? and everything's going to be all happy-go-lucky between them now? dumb. the best possible ending at this point would have been to return her to new york after rejecting both big and alek. but that's just my opinion.

anyway, i was so irritated by how the writers were manipulating alek's character, that by the time carrie decided to leave, i couldn't even bring myself to care.

I also thought Carrie should have ended up single, but I never really cared for her character that much anyway!

carrie grates - especially in the last few seasons. while charlotte remains my least favorite, carrie's whining kept me from watching the show for a while. i'm a miranda girl, except for that whole baby thing.

I agree, Miranda all the way. Samatha really grew on me this season, though.

after seeing so much 'oz' in the last few weeks, that clip of carrie sleeping with dean winters (ryan o'reily) in the retrospective before the last episode of 'sex in the city' made me realize how much i have always wanted carrie to die a bloody death at the hands of a violent sociopath. too bad she lived through the whole series. but in my little head i picture her breaking up with mr. big (john) and going out with lee tergesen (tobias beecher), who promptly makes her his bitch. or maybe the other way around...
