eternal sunshine of the spotless mind - it's not really a hyperbole to advertise it as the best film of 2004. i certainly haven't seen anything better in recent months - even jim carrey didn't get on my nerves, which is truly bizarre and unaccountable. everyone is absolutely spot-on, and even if i have some structural quibbles, i wouldn't really change a thing about the end product. i wasn't sure if it would get to me until the last third really got rolling, and when the credits rolled up, i found that i couldn't stop from crying.

I'm so dying to check this out. It's gotten quite a bit of buzz on NPR.

I am seeing this today. Cannot WAIT!

You live in Chicago, right? You should go see Balthazaar at the Music Box ... it's damn good (if you don't mind a few old movie, out-dated elements.
