so, the store i wrote about last week? the one that owes me money? well, they STILL haven't taken care of it. and today i got shunted over to ANOTHER office, to ANOTHER person who couldn't help me, and i am so fucking pissed right now. what the hell am i supposed to do? i filed a claim with my bank, but they say they're not sure if they can do anything, either.

wtf? do the just expect me to get frustrated and give up? because i really think that's what they're doing: stalling me until i finally throw up my hands.

I agree with Alero. Go to the highest people.

I did this with the bank that screwed up my student loan. I wrote their office a letter. A couple weeks later I got a personal phone call from the manager telling me that the staff person who fucked me over had been reprimanded. They also gave me $50 as compensation for my stress.

A pretty sweet deal, and totally worth it.

you're both right: i finally talked to the owner, and he got the situation straightened out pretty quickly, and gave me a $10 gift certificate. i think i'll use it, then never shop there again.

oh, and when they called me back to give me the credit, the guy fucked it up. he charged my card for the amount AGAIN, then had to reverse BOTH charges. what idiots. but i think it's finally taken care of. i hope. i'm almost afraid to check my account balance.
